Meet Tara
My passion for becoming a scroll-saw artist and starting Pine and Knotty is driven by my desire to be an entrepreneur, utilizing my creative skills to make a living. The traditional 9-5 grind never felt like the right fit for me; I knew there was more to explore in life. Working in a corporate job left me disheartened, missing precious moments with my kids, like after-school activities and school field trips. That realization became a turning point, motivating me to transform my side hustle into a full-time business.
I take immense pride in knowing that every piece I craft is truly one-of-a-kind, sparking conversations that my customers can't wait to share with their loved ones. This sense of accomplishment fuels my determination to continuously grow and improve, both as an artist and as a businesswoman. I'm constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity and honing my skills, as I strive to build a business that stands for sincerity, quality, and uniqueness. Starting from a single vehicle garage with humble old tools, I've shown that you don't need a massive shop or the best equipment to create beautiful art. My journey has been self-taught, and the possibilities for growth and learning are limitless.
Beyond financial success, this journey is about personal pride and fulfillment. I want my children to be proud of their mom, witnessing the path I'm paving, contributing to our family's happiness, and living a life free of limitations. Together, let's embark on this creative adventure, as I craft one-of-a-kind art pieces that will find a special place in your home and heart. My fantastic customer base inspires me daily, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. I'm grateful for every step of this journey, and I'm excited to share it with you.
